Bettis GVO-C Series Hydraulic Valve Actuator
Brand: Bettis - by Emerson Electric Co.A hydraulic valve actuator designed for service in safety shutdown and control applications.
Six basic models address low pressure or high pressure operation.
Features- Full stainless steel construction and standard carbon-fiber material for light-weight durability and low friction (steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass optional).
- Suitable in very dirty environments; scale build up on the piston rod will not affect the cylinder performance.
- Conventional linkage arms have been replaced with a fully-enclosed transducer, which is a major design innovation.
- May be fitted with jackscrew or hydraulic pump type manual override.
- Springs are pre-compressed and sealed in a factory-installed canister: no extended tie-rods required, hence, shorter delivery lead time.
- Modular factory seal-welded spring canister for increased safety (no need for extended tie-rods) and modular canister also provides application flexibility and spring thrust availability up to 75,000 lbs.
- Infinite resolution, accuracy to 0.5 percent repeatability.
- Allows remote mounting of positioners (ideal for harsh environment or hazardous areas).
