6900GZE Series Pressure Switch

Brand: Custom Control Sensors, LLC

The hazardous locations CCS Dual-Snap 6900GZE Series is the most popular all-around gage pressure switch with a stainless steel port for corrosion resistance.

The series is UL/CSA explosion-proof, Class I, Groups A, B, C, and D, and Class II Groups E, F and G certified, and ATEX/IECEx II 2 G D Ex d IIC and Ex to IIIC. NEMA 4X and IP66 ratings are optimal for wet conditions.

It is designed with high vibration and shock resistance, utilizing Dual Snap® disc spring technology, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability. It comes with high over-pressure capabilities and is still relatively compact in size to conveniently mount on panels.

The 6900GZE series is ideal for gaseous and liquid media that are aggressive, highly viscous, or contaminated, even in harsh environments, thus meeting the demand for all commercial and industrial applicaitons.

    Applications of Pressure Switches

    Pump Control
To maintain the pressure within specified limits by controlling the operation of pumps. For example, in water pumping systems, pressure switches ensure that the system maintains adequate water pressure.

    Safety and Alarm Systems
To prevent overpressure conditions that could lead to equipment failure or safety hazards. Pressure switches can activate safety valves or alarms to alert personnel.

    HVAC Systems
To regulate pressures within heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring efficient operation and preventing pressure extremes.

    Compressed Air Systems
To control the air pressure in compressors and pneumatic systems, activating or deactivating the compressor as needed to maintain the desired pressure level.

    Hydraulic Systems
To monitor and control the pressure in hydraulic circuits used in machinery and manufacturing processes.

    Refrigeration Systems
To detect and control the pressure of refrigerants, helping to manage the cycling of refrigeration compressors.
